The UK based market research company YouGov determine the most admired people around the world, through an online survey on over 42,000 people in 41 countries for its annual study, around the globe. The survey, conducted through online voting, ranks the world’s most admired men and women.
According to the survey of YouGov former first Lady of USA, Michelle Obama has been named the most admired woman in the world and has ranked 1st position, while Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie is at 2nd and 3rd ranking.
Young female education activist, Malala Yousafzai from Pakistan, also makes the list at number six ranking and leading behind Queen Elizabeth II and Emma Watson at 4th and 5th ranking. Malala is youngest person to rank on the women’s or men’s lists.
According to the survey of YouGov, entertainment industry of India Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen, ranked at numbers 13, 14, 16 and 17 respectively. Susmita Sen is a new comer in the list of YouGov, while Deepika, Priyanka and Aishwarya have all placed before.
